There Will be a Slight Delay...
posted by Clay on Mon, Aug 9th 2004Well, now it can't be helped. I will miss Monday's comic deadline. I was away at Bush Gardens all this weekend and I got home too late to finish my strip before Monday morning. At this point, I have two options: stay up until 4:30 or 5:00 am finishing Monday's comic, or get some rest tonight and finish the comic after I get back from work tomorrow. I'm really wiped out from the trip, and it's definitely affecting my drawing at this point, so I've decided on option #2. Believe me when I say that the last thing I want is to miss any deadlines, but there is a very real threat that I could fall asleep at my computer and bash my head into my keyboard, causing an electrical fire that would consume me and the entire apartment complex. For the good of everyone, and in keeping with fire regulations, the comic is going to come out Monday night. G'night.
