Rob and Elliot on your iMonkey...er iPod!
posted by Clay on Sun, Jan 8th 2006
This announcement comes a little late, since it actually launched on Friday, but Rob and Elliot is now on your iPod! That's right through a service called Clickwheel, you can now download the first comic and take it on the go with that new iPod video or nano you got for xmas (it'll also work on the iPod photo). I'll be putting up more comics today, so hopefully you shoould have about 5 to look through before the day's done, and every week after there will be at least one more new upload. Why would you possibly want to do this when you can view the comics on your computer at any time? Well, here are some pretty good reasons.

  • It'd be cool to have the comic all on your iPod so you can read through the archives wherever you want without an internet connection and without loading times.
  • It's a great way to show your friends a comic you really liked without dragging them to a computer.
  • Everything looks cooler on an iPod.
  • It's free, so why wouldn't you put Rob and Elliot on your iPod?

I think the iPod is a really interesting new platform for comic content. I wouldn't have drawn it monkipomorphised if I didn't. I only do that to things I really like :)
